Our Story

We've created this team because we want to raise money for people living with multiple sclerosis (MS) by participating in Westpac City-Bay Fun Run Presented by Sunday Mail.

The MS Society SA/NT is a community based not-for-profit organisation which offers a range of services to empower people with MS to live well, while supporting research into treatments, and a cause and cure for MS.

All money raised through our fundraising efforts, goes towards helping us continue to provide essential services to people living with MS in South Australia and the Northern Territory, and helps to fund vital research into the cause and cure for multiple sclerosis.

MS is an unpredictable condition of the central nervous system, which affects the brain, spinal cord and optic nerves. MS affects over 25,000 people in Australia and more than two million people worldwide. There is currently no known cause or cure for MS. Most people are diagnosed with MS when they are still quite young, between the ages of 20-40, but it can affect younger and older people too. Three times as many women have MS as men. The symptoms associated with MS can have a major impact on daily living, employment and families.

Please help us by giving whatever you can using the 'Give Now' button. The more people that know about Westpac City-Bay Fun Run Presented by Sunday Mail, the greater the impact, so please also spread the word by sharing our page with your friends and family.

Thank you for your generosity!
